  • 20 green olives, pitted
For the filling
  • 1 Violife Just Like Cream Cheese room temperature
  • 1 tbsp sumac
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp fine salt
  • 1 tsp of cumin
  • salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground pepper
For the coating
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 eggs, beaten or vegan alternative
  • oil, for frying
  1. Dry the olives on some kitchen paper.
  2. Mix the Violife with the spices using a whisk or electric hand mixer. Place in a piping bag.
  3. Fill the olives with the creamy mixture.
  4. Make your breadcrumb mixture by combining panko with paprika.
  5. Beat your eggs in a separate bowl. Set aside.
  6. Coat olives in the beaten egg, then dip and coat in the breadcrumbs.
  7. Repeat once more.
  8. Freeze the olives for 15 to 20 minutes before frying.
  9. Heat a small saucepan over medium heat.
  10. Fry 10 olives at a time. Dry on a paper-lined plate.
  11. Make the dipping sauce by blending all the ingredients until combined.
  12. Taste & adjust seasoning to taste.
  13. Serve with the remaining maple dipping sauce.
