Violife sticks

  • 1 pack Violife Mozzarella Flavour Block
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper, to season
  • vegetable oil for frying
  1. Cut the Violife Mozzarella Flavour Block into sticks.
  2. Place the flour in a bowl. In a second bowl place the breadcrumbs and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano and whisk to combine.
  3. Take each stick and dip into water, let the excess drip off.
  4. Then coat with flour, shake off the excess, dip again into water and then into the breadcrumb mix.
  5. Put pressure with your hands and make sure that you cover the sticks entirely. Shake off the excess and place on a plate.
  6. Repeat with the remaining sticks.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a deep-frying pan and fry for about 30-60 seconds until golden brown.
  8. Drain the sticks on a paper towel and serve with your favorite marinara sauce.
