recipe image Monster Balls and Spooky Quesadillas
FOR THE QUESADILLAS:
  • 180 g Violife tex-mex flavour grated
  • 1 tbsp Violife vioblock
  • 12 mini tortilla or 6 large ones
  • pumpkin shaped cookie cutters
FOR THE MONSTER BITES:
  • 180 g Violife tex-mex flavour grated
  • 150 g Violife creamy original
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 6 olives sliced
  • 1 carrot in fine sticks
  1. To make the quesadillas, use your cookie cutter to cut pumpkin shapes on all the tortillas.
  2. Use a knife or smaller cookie cutters to make scary faces on half of the tortillas. Sprinkle the whole tortillas with Violife Tex-Mex flavour grated and top with the tortilla with the scary faces. Repeat with all the tortillas and Violife Tex-Mex flavour grated.
  3. Heat a medium frying pan with some VIOBLOCK and heat each quesadilla for 1 minute on each side until nicely melted.
  4. To make the monster bites, in a medium bowl, whisk the Violife Creamy Original with onion powder. Keep 1 tablespoon aside.
  5. Use your hands to form 30g balls from the mixture.
  6. Place Violife Tex-Mex flavour grated in a shallow baking tray and roll in the creamy balls, until completely coated. Don’t worry if they look messy, they’re supposed to!
  7. Place the tablespoon of creamy into a piping bag with a small nozzle.
  8. Stick two carrot sticks into the balls to resemble eyes and add a dot of creamy to the top of the carrot stick.
  9. Place the olive slices as mouths for the little monsters.
  10. Keep refrigerated until serving.
