Monster Balls and Spooky Quesadillas
Monster Bites creepy festive finger food! You can't go wrong with these spooky appetizers made with Violife.

FOR THE QUESADILLAS:
- 180 g Violife tex-mex flavour grated
- 1 tbsp Violife vioblock
- 12 mini tortilla or 6 large ones
- pumpkin shaped cookie cutters
FOR THE MONSTER BITES:
- 180 g Violife tex-mex flavour grated
- 150 g Violife creamy original
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 6 olives sliced
- 1 carrot in fine sticks
- To make the quesadillas, use your cookie cutter to cut pumpkin shapes on all the tortillas.
- Use a knife or smaller cookie cutters to make scary faces on half of the tortillas. Sprinkle the whole tortillas with Violife Tex-Mex flavour grated and top with the tortilla with the scary faces. Repeat with all the tortillas and Violife Tex-Mex flavour grated.
- Heat a medium frying pan with some VIOBLOCK and heat each quesadilla for 1 minute on each side until nicely melted.
- To make the monster bites, in a medium bowl, whisk the Violife Creamy Original with onion powder. Keep 1 tablespoon aside.
- Use your hands to form 30g balls from the mixture.
- Place Violife Tex-Mex flavour grated in a shallow baking tray and roll in the creamy balls, until completely coated. Don’t worry if they look messy, they’re supposed to!
- Place the tablespoon of creamy into a piping bag with a small nozzle.
- Stick two carrot sticks into the balls to resemble eyes and add a dot of creamy to the top of the carrot stick.
- Place the olive slices as mouths for the little monsters.
- Keep refrigerated until serving.
