Dakos
Have you ever tried Dakos? Famous Greek traditional salad with round barley rusk, Violife Greek White, black olives and capers. It’s just irresistible!

- 200 g Violife Greek White block, crumbled
- 4 tomatoes, grated or diced
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp basil, finely chopped
- A bunch of fresh thyme
- 4 round barley rusk
- 1 spring onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp capers
- 2 tbsp black olives, sliced
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- In a medium bowl add tomatoes, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, finely chopped basil and thyme and toss to combine. Add the mixture onto the rusks.
- Add the finely chopped onion and Violife Greek White crumbles.
- Top with capers and olives and drizzle with olive oil to serve.
