Carrot Hot Dogs
We certainly love carrot hot dogs! A perfect BBQ idea to prepare at home. Enjoy with your favourite Violife flavours! Super easy and absolutely delicious!

- 1 pack Violife grated original
- 6 hot dog buns
- pickles
- pickled beetroot
- avocado
- coriander
- caramelized onion
- salad leaves
FOR THE CARROT MARINADE :
- 6 large carrots
- 100 g soy sauce
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper to taste
FOR THE CREAMY MUSTARD SAUCE :
- 1 pack Violife creamy original
- 2 tbsp wholegrain mustard
- 2 tbsp coconut milk
- tarragon
- In a bowl, place all the carrots with the marinade ingredients and let sit for a couple of hours or overnight.
- On a medium heated barbecue, grill carrots for 10-15 minutes until soft.
- To make the creamy mustard sauce, add all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- To assemble your hot dogs, place buns on the barbecue until hot and soft. Slice in the middle and drizzle with the mustard sauce. Place carrots on top and garnish with the toppings of your choice. Sprinkle with Violife Grated Original and serve.
