Macaroni and Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Violife Plant Butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 cup plant milk
  • 8 ounces Violife 100% Vegan Just Like Cheddar Shreds
  • 8 ounces Violife Just Like Cream Cheese Block
  • 1/2 cup Violife 100% Vegan Just Like Grated Parmesan
  • 8 ounces elbow pasta, cooked according to package directions
Bread Crumb Topping
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Violife Plant Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt Plant Butter in medium saucepan and cook onion and garlic, 6 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Add flour and dry mustard and cook 1 minute. Add plant milk and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes or until thickened.
  3. Add Viiolife Just Like Cheddar Shreds and Violife Just Like Cream Cheese and cook until melted and smooth. Stir in Violife Just Like Parmesan. Stir in pasta and turn into 1-½ quart baking dish.
  4. Combine all ingredients for Bread Crumb Topping. Sprinkle over pasta and bake 20 minutes or until beginning to bubble and bread crumbs are golden.
